This Is Bigger Than Certification.

A global community built on collaboration, trust, and the pursuit of higher standards.

The IQTT Network was created by certified GWO IQT Trainers who believed the industry needed more than isolated certifications, disconnected instructors, and one-time training events.

We saw the value in building something stronger. a Global space where trainers can connect, support one another, exchange ideas, and continue growing long after certification is complete.

This platform brings together instructors from different countries, companies, and training providers with one shared purpose:

To raise the standard of instructor excellence worldwide.

Whether it’s sharing open training sessions, finding co-instructors, exchanging practical tools, discussing real industry challenges, or learning from one another’s experiences — IQTT exists to strengthen the global trainer community through collaboration instead of competition.

What this community is built for:
1. Connecting certified IQT Trainers worldwide
2. Sharing knowledge, resources, and opportunities
3. Supporting collaboration across borders
4. Encouraging professional growth and development
5. Raising the benchmark for global training excellence

Built by trainers. Strengthened by community.

Instructor Qualification Training (IQT) – 9-Day Course

Becoming a GWO-certified instructor starts with the Instructor Qualification Training — a structured, interactive 9-day program designed to prepare you for delivering GWO modules with the highest standards of quality and safety.

Direct from the GWO Standard (IQT V1):

"The aim of the Instructor Qualification Training is to qualify instructors to deliver GWO training in accordance with GWO standards and adult learning principles. The training enables the participants to deliver training that is learner-focused, engaging, and aligned with the GWO Taxonomy.”

The training focuses on:

  • Understanding and applying adult learning principles
  • Designing and delivering lessons based on GWO learning objectives
  • Facilitating scenario-based learning in a wind training context
  • Practicing instructional delivery, giving/receiving feedback
  • Assessing learning outcomes in a structured and fair way
  • Being evaluated by an IQTT using the GWO Instructor Assessment Tool
“Participants shall plan, deliver, and reflect on training sessions based on GWO standards, receive feedback from peers and instructors, and demonstrate competence through formative and summative assessment.”

Who is this for?

Anyone aiming to become a certified GWO Instructor, with relevant industry and subject-matter expertise, and a passion for teaching in high-risk environments.

Instructor Training Qualification Crossover – For Existing GWO Instructors (IQTx)

If you're already certified as a GWO Instructor in one or more modules, you may be eligible to complete a shorter Instructor Qualification Crossover — a focused session designed to validate your instructional competence without repeating the full 9-day course.

Direct from the GWO Crossover Addendum:

“The Instructor Qualification Crossover aims to validate the competences of certified GWO instructors according to the learning objectives in the Instructor Qualification Training standard, without them having to attend the full IQT.”

Requirements include:

  • Holding a valid GWO Instructor certificate in at least one module
  • Having documented training delivery experience (e.g. course logs)
  • Participating in a practical training session assessed by an IQTT
  • Demonstrating the ability to engage learners using GWO methods
  • Meeting the learning objectives of the IQT through observation
“Participants in the Crossover must demonstrate they meet the same learning objectives and assessment criteria as the full IQT course.”

Who is this for?

This route is ideal for experienced instructors who want to formalize their status under the IQT framework and continue to contribute to high-quality instruction across GWO modules.
